Special Features:Site features Hikiau Heiau, a place of worship where priests offeredreverence to Captain Cook in 1779, believing he was the god Lonoreturning to them as promised. Site also offers a panoramic view ofKealakekua Bay, with the Captain Cook Monument visible at a distanceacross the bay.
