Kachiry

an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Kachiry Raion, Pavlodar Oblast, Kazakh SSR. It is a landing on the right bank of the Irtysh River, 112 km below Pavlodar. Population, 11,000 (1970). There is a combine producing construction materials and structural components.
