Investment Counsel Association of America
Investment Counsel Association of AmericaNow known as the Investment Adviser Association; a non-profit professional association of investment advisers. Founded in 1937, the IAA has over 500 institutional members representing a variety of individuals and organizations. The IAA provides professional information to members in the form of events, publications, and newsletters. It is also a lobbying organization representing the investment advising profession to the U.S. government. Significantly, it was instrumental in the passage of Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
