释义 | Investors In PeopleInvestors In PeopleA simple and flexible business-improvement framework that operates under the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES), which is designed to help organisations in all sectors by providing tailored assessments in planning, implementing and evaluating effective strategies of improving organisations’ performance through their people. The vision of Investors in People is to increase the productivity of the UK economy by improving personnel management, leading to business improvement and better public services. The UKCES have licensed Investors in People Centres across the UK.Investors in PeopleInvestors in Peoplea recent UK government initiative to encourage ORGANIZATIONS to train their workforces. Those registering with the initiative are assisted to undertake a systematic analysis of BUSINESS STRATEGY and the training needs that result from this (see TRAINING). The organization is required to design and implement training programmes to meet these needs, and to agree personal training and development programmes with each employee, linked to the achievement of NATIONAL VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS where possible. The extent to which the organization meets the training targets set is assessed by external assessors, and those found to have met them are given an Investors in People award.Investors in Peoplea TRAINING scheme sponsored by the UK government to encourage companies to train their workforces. Companies are required to design and implement training programmes to meet their business needs and to agree personal training and development programmes with each employee.
