Facilities:Island Acres: 80 campsites, electric/sewer hookups, showers, laundry,50 picnic sites, group picnic area, trails. Fruita: 63 campsites,electric/sewer hookups, group campground, showers, laundry, 11 picnicareas, group picnic area, bathhouse, boat ramp, trails, visitor/naturecenter. Connected Lakes: 24 picnic sites, hiking & mountain bikingtrails, boat ramp. Corn Lake: 20 picnic sites, multi-use trails, boatramp. Wildlife Area: Multi-use trails. All locations have restrooms and@di@di.

Connected Lakes: Picnicking, hiking, mountain biking,boating, fishing, sailboarding, ice fishing, ice skating, interpretiveprograms. Corn Lake: Picnicking, hiking, mountain biking, horsebackriding, fishing, ice fishing, ice skating, interpretive programs.Wildlife Area: Hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing,interpretive programs. No gas motors permitted for boating/fishing.
Special Features:Colorado River State Park is actually five separate parcels along theColorado River where it flows through the Grand Junction area. Startingfrom the east going down river, the sections are Island Acres, CornLake, Wildlife Area, Connected Lakes, and Fruita. Each of the fivesections has its own specialty, providing five unique outdooropportunities.
