Location:Between the Atlantic Ocean and Barnegat Bay. Take Route 37 east to Route 35 south to park entrance.
Facilities:Self-guided trails, bike path (5 miles), bird observation blind, beach with designated swimming area,access ramp (é), bathhouses, concessions, interpretive center.
Activities:Boating (car top launch only), canoeing, fishing, swimming, surfing,sailboarding, scuba diving, picnicking (no tables or grills provided), hiking, bicycling, horseback riding,waterfowl hunting.
Special Features:Park occupies a narrow barrier island stretching for 10 miles between the Atlantic Ocean and Barnegat Bay, preserving one of New Jersey’s last remaining undeveloped barrier beaches.
