Iuzha

a city (since 1925) and the administrative center of Iuzha Raion, Ivanovo Oblast, RSFSR. Located 63 km southeast of the Shuia railroad station on the Vladimir-Ivanovo line and 93 km from Ivanovo. Population, 23,000 (1974). Industry in Iuzha is represented by a spinning and weaving mill. The city has a textile technicum.
