Facilities:6 cottages (1 @di), 69-site campground with utilities, showers, andrestrooms, 4 picnic shelters (1 with restrooms), trails, pedal boatrentals, 9-hole golf course, tennis court (seasonal), playgrounds,museum and nature center with wildlife observatory and DiscoveryCenter, meeting room, gift shop.
Activities:Camping, fishing, boating (non-motorized only), hiking, golf, tennis, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Naturalist John James Audubon lived in Henderson from 1810-1819, wherehe studied birds that became the subjects of his paintings. The park'smuseum interprets Audubon's life through his art and personalmemorabilia, framed within a timeline of world events.
