Ioniškelis

a city (since 1950) in Pasvalys Raion, Lithuanian SSR. Located on the right bank of the Muša River (Lielupe basin). Ioniškelis has a railroad station on the Šiauliai-Biržai line 69 km east of Šiauliai. Food-processing plants are located there. It is the site of an agricultural technicum and of an experimental station of the Lithuanian Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture.
