Kainazarova, Surakan

 

Born June 5 (18), 1902, in the village of Dzhalamysh, present-day Sokuluk Raion, Kirghiz SSR. Innovator in agricultural production; field team leader of the Druzhba Kolkhoz of Sokuluk Raion, Kirghiz SSR. Twice Hero of Socialist Labor (1948, 1957). Member of the CPSU since 1939.

In 1947, Kainazarova’s field team produced 971.5 centners of sugar beets per hectare in an area of 15 hectares. On her own plot she produced 1,000–1, 100 centners per hectare. She was a delegate to the Third through Twelfth Congresses of the Communist Party of Kirghizia and was elected a member of the Central Committee of the party. She was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the first and third convocations and a deputy and vice-chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Kirghiz SSR. She retired in 1958. Kainazarova has been awarded three Orders of Lenin, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, a medal, and the large gold medal of the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition.
