Aidinbekov, Mukhtadir
(Abdul Mukhtadir Aidinbek ogly). Born 1884; died 1918. Active participant in the struggle for Soviet power in the Caucasus. Born in the village of Akhty, Samur Okrug, Dagestan Oblast, into the family of a poor peasant.
Aidinbekov became a member of the Communist Party in 1904. He had been a laborer in the oil fields of Baku since 1898. He participated actively in the social democratic group Gummet and the union of oil workers and in 1906 became a member of the social democratic group Faruk. He suffered persecution from the tsarist government. In June 1917, he became a member of the Baku committee of the RSDLP (Bolshevik); in October of the same year he became a member of the Baku Soviet. In 1918, he did revolutionary work in southern Dagestan. In the fall of 1918, he was arrested by the Musavatists and killed.
