Special Features:Park is built on the former corridor of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas (MKT)Railroad, known as the "Katy." Much of the trail lies alongside theMissouri River, traveling through dense forests, wetlands, deepvalleys, remnant prairies, open pastureland, and gently rolling farmfields. Trailheads are located about every 10 miles along the route.
