Location:On County Road 292A, 10 miles southwest of Pensacola.
Facilities:75 campsites with electrical and water hookups, showers, picnic tables,beaches, boat ramp, nature trails, interpretive exhibits.
Activities:Camping, boating, canoeing, fishing, crabbing, swimming, hiking, wildlife viewing, nature study.
Special Features:Park sits on the northern shoreline of Big Lagoon, which separates themainland from Perdido Key and the Gulf of Mexico. An observation towerat the east beach area gives visitors a panoramic view of Big Lagoonand Gulf Islands National Seashore (see entry in national parkssection) across the Intracoastal Waterway.
