Oversees implementation of the 1968 Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act, with provisions similar to securities laws.The Act requires registration of subdivisions with 100 or more nonexempt lots and the provision of a Property Report Disclosure Document to each purchaser.The most common exemption is for improved lots,either with habitable structures completed when offered for sale or to be completed within two years.
