Malaia Kuberle

a river in Rostov Oblast, RSFSR, a left tributary of the Sal (Don basin). Length, 152 km; basin area, 1,460 sq km. It originates in the Sal-Manych range, flowing in a broad valley among cultivated steppes. It is fed primarily by snow. Spring brings high water, and in winter the entire river freezes. The settlement of Zimovniki is on the Malaia Kuberle.
