Niurolka

Niurol’ka

 

(also, Bol’shaia Niurol’ka), a river in Tomsk Oblast, RSFSR, right tributary of the Vasiugan River (Ob’ basin). It is 339 km long and drains an area of 8,110 sq km. It originates in the Vasiugan’e Plain, through which it flows. It is fed by mixed sources, predominantly by snow. High water lasts from May through July. The mean flow rate 11 km from the river’s mouth is about 60 cu m per sec. The river freezes over in late October or early November and thaws in late April or early May. It is used for floating timber.
