Baturino

an urban-type settlement in Asino Raion, Tomsk Oblast, RSFSR, located on the Chulym River (a tributary of the Ob’), 150 km north of Tomsk. Population, 6,900 (1968). Baturino is the center of an important lumbering region, where much timber is floated and processed.
