Khavast

(until 1963, Ursat’evskaia), an urban-type settlement in Syr Darya Oblast, Uzbek SSR, under jurisdiction of the Iangier city soviet. Khavast is a highway junction and a junction of rail lines to Tashkent, Samarkand, and Kokand. It has enterprises connected with railroad transport.
