Khorinsk

an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Khorinsk Raion, Buriat ASSR. Khorinsk is located on the Uda River, a tributary of the Selenga, 165 km northeast of Ulan-Ude. The settlement has two logging and timber distribution establishments and a sheep-raising sovkhoz.
