an urban-type settlement in Krymsk Raion, Krasnodar Krai, RSFSR. Railroad station (Bakanskaia) on the Tikhoretskaia-Novorossiisk line. It has a combine for the production of nonmetallic building materials and a mine for the extraction of gaize (opoka).
