AT LAST was to compare a regimen of two nucleoside reverse transcriptor inhibitors—stavudine (Zerit, or d4T) + didanosine (Videx, or ddI)—with two protease inhibitors—indinavir (Crixivan) + ritonavir (Norvir)—for patients already experienced with NRTI and NNRTI regimens.
