Khromoi, Aleksei Grigorevich

Dates of birth and death unknown. A close associate of S. T. Razin.

In September 1670, Razin sent a detachment under Khromoi to help the rebels in the northeastern Ukraine. Khromoi’s men captured a number of small towns; in early November, however, they were defeated and were forced to withdraw to the Don. Khromoi’s fate is unknown.
