malignant angioendotheliomatosis

angiotropic lymphoma

A lesion first described as a neoplastic vascular proliferation, angiotropic lymphoma was later was shown to be either a B-cell or, less commonly, a T-cell lymphoma with a predilection for intravascular spaces.
 
Clinical findings
Onset with multiple indurated and erythematous plaques or papules mimicking erythema nodosum; fever; neurologic signs; minimal involvement of lymph nodes, bone marrow and spleen.

malignant angioendotheliomatosis

Intravascular large cell lymphoma that is typically found in the blood vessels of the skin and central nervous system and is often rapidly fatal.

Treatment

Current treatment is based on polychemotherapy.
