An uncommon soft tissue malignancy (66% to 90% of SFTs are benign), most of which arise in the pleura. Extrapleural SFTs are even rarer, with about 100 having been reported in the world literature, arising in the meninges, orbit, upper respiratory tract, salivary glands, thyroid, peritoneum, liver, retroperitoneum, adrenal gland, kidney, spermatic cord, urinary bladder and prostate spinal cord, periosteum and soft tissue, mainly in the head and neck.

Haemangiopericytoma, synovial sarcoma, dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, leiomyosarcoma, liposarcoma, malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumour.
Management
Excision, radiation therapy.
