Möbius resistor[′mər·bē·əs ri‚zis·tər] (electricity) A nonreactive resistor made by placing strips of aluminum or other metallic tape on opposite sides of a length of dielectric ribbon, twisting the strip assembly half a turn, joining the ends of the metallic tape, then soldering leads to opposite surfaces of the resulting loop. |
