Mallowan, Max Edgar
Born May 6, 1904, in London. British archaeologist, specialist in the archaeology of Southwest Asia from the Neolithic period to the beginning of the Iron Age.
Mallowan was a professor at the University of London from 1947 to 1962. He has conducted archaeological investigations in Syria, Iran, and Iraq for more than 30 years.
