Malygin Strait

a strait between Belyi Island and the lamal Peninsula in the Kara Sea. Length, 63 km; width, 9-27 km. The strait is shallow. The low banks are sandy and clayey and covered with tundra vegetation. The strait was named in honor of S. G. Malygin.
