Malyi Kinel’
a river in Orenburg and Kuibyshev oblasts, RSFSR; a left-bank tributary of the Bol’shoi Kinel’ River (Volga basin). Length, 201 km; basin area, 2,690 sq km. It rises in the Obshchii Syrt Upland and is fed mainly by snow. Its average discharge 24 km from the mouth is 5.43 cu m per sec. The Malyi KineP freezes solid in some years. It freezes in November, and the ice breaks up in April.
