Nekrasovskoe
Nekrasovskoe
(Bol’shie Soli until 1938), an urban-type settlement and administrative center of the Nekrasovskoe Raion, Yaroslavl Oblast, RSFSR. It is located on the right bank of the Volga at the confluence with the Solonitsa River, 11 km from the Krasnyi Profintern railroad station and 35 km from Yaroslavl. The settlement has a machine-building plant (technical equipment and spare parts for the food-processing industry) and a dairy. The city was named in honor of the Russian poet N. A. Nekrasov.
