Long-Term Greed Long-Term GreedIn investment banking, a term describing the placing of one's client's interests above those of the bank because doing so will inspire client loyalty and, ultimately, make more money for the bank. Long-term greed is considered important for the sustainability of an investment bank. If an investment bank consistently makes bad decisions for clients, they are unlikely to stay with the bank, which will reduce the bank's capital and make it less likely to succeed. |
