Special Features:Listed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks, Leesylvania was the home of the famous Lee family. Henry Lee III (Light Horse Harry), a cavalry colonel during the American Revolution, governor of Virginia (1791-1794), and father of Robert E. Lee, was one of eight children born here. The family gravesite is still on the property.
