Lee, Yuan T. Lee, Yuan T.(1936– ) chemist; born in Hsinchu, Taiwan. He came to the United States in 1962. Working with Dudley Herschbach at the University of California: Berkeley, he designed the crossed-molecular-beam apparatus that hastened the understanding of chemical reactions. He shared the Nobel Prize in chemistry (1986) for his contributions concerning dynamics of elementary chemical processes. |
