Location:4 miles west of Goshen on Route 4.
Facilities:Lookout tower and overlook; pit toilets.
Activities:Youth group camping, pond and stream fishing, hiking, snowmobiling.
Special Features:A wildlife sanctuary with panoramic views, Forest contains a blackspruce bog that gives visitors the opportunity to view a rare plantcommunity. A segment of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail passesthrough the forest (see entry in national trails section).
