Location:Eastern shore of Virginia, on State Route 704.
Facilities:147 campsites (32 with full hookups, 54 with water and electric, 2 @di), group campsites, 5 lodges, RV trailer rentals, showers, toilets, picnic shelters, hiking trails, bicycle trails, swimming beach, bathhouse (é), laundry, boat launch, lighted fishing pier, camp store, observatory, environmental education center.

Special Features:Kiptopeke has been the site of bird population studies since 1963. It features a raptor research area where birds of prey are observed and banded. Kiptopeke hawk observatory is among the top 15 nationwide.
