mediastinal grey-zone lymphoma

mediastinal grey-zone lymphoma

An incompletely characterised lymphoma that has clinical, morphologic and immunophenotypic features between classic (nodular sclerosis) Hodgkin lymphoma and primary mediastinal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). MGZL is more common in men and generally treated as a DLBCL. It is believed that MLBCL and cHL may be related entities, and that the existence of MGZL with transitional morphology and phenotype is the missing link between the two.
