– Age, sex;

– Past medical history.
• Imaging:
– Site (50% mediastinal lesions are in anterior compartment);
– Solid/cystic;
– Solitary/diffuse.
• Organs:
– Thymus;
– Lymph nodes;
– Thyroid;
– Parathyroid;
– Soft tissues; 
– Oesophagus;
– Ectopic tissues;
– Germ cells.
