Lopez, Nancy

(1957– ) golfer; born in Torrance, Calif. After an outstanding career in amateur golf, she turned professional in 1977 and won the Ladies' Professional Golf Association (LPGA) championship the following year. She was voted LPGA player of the year four times (1978–79, 1985, 1988). She was married to former baseball star, Ray Knight.
