Mokhevs

Georgians who live in Khevi, a historical region in Georgia, now part of Kazbegi Raion in the Georgian SSR. In the past the Mokhevs were a separate ethnographic group, speaking the Mokhev dialect of the Georgian language and differing from neighboring peoples in certain aspects of their culture and way of life.
