Location:From Pocahontas, 2 miles west on US 62, then 9 miles south on AR 166; or, from Black Rock, US 63 to AR 361, then 6 miles north.
Facilities:24 campsites with electric and water hookups, 25 tent sites, showers,restrooms, picnic areas, 2 screened pavilions, playgrounds, trails(including a self-guided trail through the old town site), boat launchramp (Black River only), boat rentals, fishing pier (é), visitorcenter, exhibits, gift shop.
Activities:Camping, fishing, boating, hiking, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Park preserves the locale of historic Davidsonville (established in1815), the site of the Arkansas Territory's first post office,courthouse, and land office. In addition to its historic significance,the park borders the Black River and a 12-acre fishing lake, andfishing is a major activity here.
