Kitsman

a city (since 1940) and center of Kitsman’ Raion, Chernovtsy Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Sovitsa River (a tributary of the Prut). Railroad station on the Chernovtsy-Ternopol’ line. It has a creamery and a chicken hatchery. It is also the site of a veterinary technicum and a museum of history and local lore.
