Lemac, LEMAC

The leading edge of mean aerodynamic chord often used as a reference point for various aerodynamic measurements in aircraft design and operation. When an aircraft's center of gravity is given in %MAC (mean aerodynamic chord), LEMAC (leading edge of mean aerodynamic chord) is specified in inches or millimeters from the datum to allow the weight and balance computation to relate %MAC to the datum.
