Location:From Ft Collins, take US 287 north through LaPorte, then left at theBellvue exit onto County Road 23N, left 1.4 miles to County Road 25G,right 1.6 miles to park entrance.
Facilities:6 backcountry campsites, restrooms (é), 20 picnic sites (é), grouppicnic area, hiking trails (25 miles), bike trails (15 miles), bridletrails (15 miles), stables/horse rentals, visitor/nature center.
Activities:Camping, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, rock climbing,hunting (with restrictions), cross-country skiing, snowtubing, wintercamping, interpretive programs. Park borders Horsetooth Reservoir,where boating, fishing, water-skiing, and sailboarding are permitted.
Special Features:Park is located along the edge of Horsetooth Reservoir in LarimerCounty, near Fort Collins. It features extensive trails, and its diverse terrain is home to a variety ofwildlife, such as mule deer, wild turkey, black bear, mountain lion,coyote, blue grouse, and many reptile species.
