Special Features:Dating back to the early 1700s, Los Adaes was the symbol of New Spain in Louisiana, a former capital of Texas, and the scene of a unique cooperation among the French, the Spanish and the indigenous Native Americans. Today, archeological finds in the area and exhibits tell the story of this era in Louisiana history.
