Nagaev Bay

a bay in the Taui Guba in the northern part of the Sea of Okhotsk, in Magadan Oblast, RSFSR. It extends 16 km inland and is protected from all but westerly winds. Tides run as high as 4 m. Nagaev Bay is the best mooring place in the Sea of Okhotsk. The city of Magadan, the oblast’s center, with its port (Nagaevo), is located on the bay, which is named after A. I. Nagaev.
