Nuclear Munitions

rocket warheads, torpedoes, aerial bombs, depth charges, artillery shells, and land mines that contain the nuclear explosive charge for the destruction of various targets, fortifications, and installations and for other purposes.

The action of nuclear munitions is based on the use of the energy released during the explosion of the nuclear explosive charge. Such munitions consist of a nuclear explosive charge, a detonation system, and a casing that protects the charge and the fuze system from the action of the external environment and enemy weapons. The casing also serves to secure the nuclear munition to the carrier.
