Lenin Guegu

(Lenin ĝuegu, The Leninist Path), a republic newspaper in the Kabarda-Balkar ASSR issued in the KabardaCherkess language. It is published in Nal’chik five times weekly. The first issue appeared on June 1, 1921. Originally called Krasnaia Kabarda (Red Kabarda), its name was changed several times. Since 1957 it has been called Lenin guegu. Circulation, 18,000 (1973).
