Kniga: Issledovaniia I Materialy

(Books: Research and Materials), a publication of the All-Union Book Chamber, published since 1959 in Moscow; 25 collections had been issued by 1973. It contains articles and materials devoted to such problems of book science as the social significance of books and their history, book design, publishing and library science, bibliography, and book distribution. It also publishes bibliographical surveys, book reviews, archival documents and information about them, and a chronicle of events. The publication had a circulation of 3,000 in 1972.
