New Zealand Stock Exchange

The only stock exchange in New Zealand. It traces its roots to a number of smaller exchanges in the 1870s that originally traded mainly gold. These exchanges combined in 1974 to form the New Zealand Stock Exchange. It became fully computerized in 1991 and changed its name to the New Zealand Exchange Ltd in 2003.
