Miliarisium

a coin of the later Roman and early Byzantine periods. It contained 4.55 g of silver. It was introduced by Constantine I (fourth century) and was in use until A.D. 615. Nominal value of the miliarisium was one-thousandth of a gold Byzantine pound.
