lepton conservation

lepton conservation

[′lep‚tän ‚kän·sər‚vā·shən] (particle physics) The principle that the number of electrons and e-neutrinos minus the number of positrons and e-antineutrinos is unchanged in any interaction; similarly, the number of negatively charged muons and μ-neutrinos minus the number of positively charged muons and μ-antineutrinos is unchanged.
